1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the LoyalBean mobile application and services ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.

2. Description of Service

LoyalBean provides a digital coffee loyalty platform connecting consumers with participating coffee shops. The Service allows users to earn and redeem loyalty points through participating venues.

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

  • Users must provide accurate and complete information
  • Users are responsible for maintaining account security
  • One account per user is permitted

3.2 Account Termination

  • LoyalBean may suspend or terminate accounts at any time without notice
  • Users may delete their accounts through the application settings

4. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. LOYALBEAN MAKES NO REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

LoyalBean disclaims all warranties regarding:

  • Accuracy - No guarantee that point balances, rewards, or information are accurate
  • Availability - No guarantee of uninterrupted service access
  • Functionality - No warranty that the Service will meet your requirements
  • Security - No guarantee against data loss or unauthorized access
  • Merchant Participation - No control over participating venues' policies

5. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LOYALBEAN SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES.

In any event, the total liability of LoyalBean shall not exceed $10 USD, regardless of the cause of action.

6. Loyalty Points and Rewards

  • Loyalty points have no cash value
  • Points cannot be transferred between users
  • Points may expire without notice
  • LoyalBean may modify point values at any time
  • Reward redemption is subject to merchant availability

7. User Responsibilities

Users may not:

  • Use the Service for illegal purposes
  • Attempt to manipulate point balances or rewards
  • Share account credentials with others
  • Create multiple accounts
  • Use automated tools or scripts

8. Legal Protections

BY USING THIS SERVICE, YOU WAIVE ANY RIGHT TO PURSUE LEGAL ACTION AGAINST LOYALBEAN, ITS OWNERS, EMPLOYEES, OR AFFILIATES.

Any disputes must be resolved through binding arbitration. Users waive the right to jury trials, class action lawsuits, and court proceedings.

9. Service Modifications

LoyalBean reserves the right to modify or discontinue the Service at any time without notice. We have no obligation to provide advance notice of changes or maintain backward compatibility.

10. Beta Subscription Plan Limitations

During our beta period, the subscription plan has the following limitations and conditions:

  • One cafe per subscription (multi-location support is not available during beta)
  • Feature set may change without notice as we iterate and improve
  • Pricing and plan details are subject to change before general availability
  • Best-effort support only; no guaranteed response or resolution times
  • 14-day free trial applies to new subscribers; charges begin automatically after the trial unless cancelled
  • Access and availability may be interrupted during beta for maintenance and upgrades
