LoyalBean is a modern, digital loyalty platform that helps coffee shops reward their customers
and build lasting relationships. It replaces outdated paper punch cards with a seamless mobile
experience, allowing customers to track points and redeem rewards through a simple QR code
system.
What platforms does LoyalBean support?
Consumer App is available on both Android (Google Play) and iOS (Apple App
Store).
Cafe Owner App is currently available on Android (Google Play).
Is my data secure?
Absolutely. LoyalBean is built with enterprise-grade security using Firebase's secure
infrastructure. We use industry-standard encryption, secure authentication (including Google and
Apple Sign-In), and App Check protection to safeguard your data. All transactions and personal
information are protected according to our
Privacy Policy.
How do I get support?

For Customers
How do I earn points?
Simply show your unique QR code (found in the Consumer App) to the barista when making a
purchase. They'll scan it to instantly add points to your account. The number of points awarded
per visit is determined by each individual cafe.
How do I redeem rewards?
When you've accumulated enough points at a cafe (as defined by their reward threshold), simply
tell the barista you'd like to redeem your reward. They'll scan your QR code and deduct the
required points, giving you your free drink or item. Points update in real-time on your device.
Is there a cost to use the Consumer App?
No, the LoyalBean Consumer App is completely free for customers. There are no subscription fees
or hidden charges—just download, sign up, and start earning points at participating cafes.
Can I use LoyalBean at multiple cafes?
Yes! Your LoyalBean account works at all participating cafes. Each cafe maintains its own points
balance for you, so you can build loyalty with all your favorite coffee spots. Use the discover
feature to find nearby cafes using LoyalBean.
What if I can't find my favorite cafe in the app?
If your favorite cafe isn't on LoyalBean yet, encourage them to join! They can get started with
a 7-day free trial. Direct them to

or have them download the Cafe Owner App.
Do I need an internet connection to use the app?
While your QR code can be displayed offline, if you are authenticated. The cafe owner will need
an internet connection to scan your code and update your points in real-time.
For Cafe Owners
How does the subscription work?
LoyalBean operates on a simple monthly subscription model managed through Stripe. You get a
7-day free trial automatically when you sign up—no credit card required
upfront. After the trial, you'll be prompted to subscribe to continue using the platform. You
can cancel anytime without penalty.
What happens during the free trial?
During your 7-day trial, you get full access to all LoyalBean features including QR code
scanning, customer management, analytics, and unlimited transactions. This lets you test the
platform with real customers before committing. You can set up your cafe, configure your points
and rewards system, and start building customer loyalty right away.
How do I scan customer QR codes?
The Cafe Owner App has a built-in QR scanner on the main screen. Simply tap the scan button,
point your device's camera at the customer's QR code, and the app will instantly award or deduct
points. You can also manually enter point adjustments if needed.
What analytics and insights do I get?
The Cafe Owner App provides detailed analytics including transaction history, customer visit
patterns, total points awarded and redeemed, active customer counts, and business trends over
time. These insights help you understand customer behavior and optimize your loyalty program.
Do I need special hardware?
No! The Cafe Owner App works on any modern Android smartphone or tablet that your team already
uses. No need to purchase expensive POS systems or dedicated scanners—just download the app from
Google Play and you're ready to go.
How much does LoyalBean cost?
Pricing details are available when you sign up through the Cafe Owner App. We offer competitive
monthly subscription rates with no long-term contracts. Remember, you can try everything free
for 7 days to see if it's right for your business. Contact

Can I customize the points and rewards structure?
Yes! You have full control over how many points customers earn per visit and how many points are
required to redeem a reward. You can adjust these settings at any time in the Cafe Owner App to
match your business model.
Can I manage multiple cafes with one account?
Multi-cafe management is coming soon! This feature will allow chains and franchises to manage
multiple locations from a single login. Currently, each cafe location requires its own
subscription. Stay tuned for updates or contact

What if my subscription payment fails?
If a payment fails, we'll notify you and give you time to update your payment method. The app
will show a subscription status indicator, and you'll need to update your billing information
through the subscription management screen to continue using LoyalBean.
How do I get my cafe listed so customers can find me?
When you set up your cafe in the Owner App, you'll provide your location details. Your cafe will
automatically appear in the Consumer App's discovery feature, allowing nearby customers to find
you based on their GPS location.
