Account Deletion Request Process

We respect your right to delete your account and personal data. To ensure the security of your account and verify your identity, please follow the instructions below.

⚠️ Important: This Action Cannot Be Undone

Deleting your account will permanently remove:

  • Your account and profile information
  • All accumulated loyalty points and balances
  • Your transaction and visit history
  • Saved preferences and settings
  • Access to participating cafes through the app

Once deleted, this data cannot be recovered.

How to Request Account Deletion

  1. Send an email from your registered account email address to
  2. Use the subject line: "Account Deletion Request"
  3. Include the following information in your email:
    • Your full name as registered in the app
    • The email address associated with your LoyalBean account
    • Confirmation that you understand this action is permanent

Why Email Verification?

We require you to send the deletion request from your registered email address to verify your identity and prevent unauthorized account deletion. This protects your account from malicious deletion requests.

What Happens Next?

After we receive your verified deletion request:

  • Acknowledgment: You will receive a confirmation email within 2-3 business days
  • Processing Time: Your account will be scheduled for deletion within 30 days
  • Immediate Deactivation: Your account will be deactivated immediately upon confirmation
  • Final Notification: You will receive a final email when deletion is complete

Data Retention Notice

While we will delete your account and associated data, please note:

  • Legal Requirements: Some transaction records may be retained for up to 7 years as required by law and described in our Privacy Policy
  • Backup Systems: Data in backup systems will be deleted during the next scheduled backup rotation
  • Anonymized Data: Aggregated, anonymized analytics data may be retained for service improvement
  • Third-Party Services: You may need to separately revoke access to third-party authentication providers (Google, Apple)

Alternative: Delete Account In-App

If you have access to the LoyalBean app, you can also delete your account directly:

  1. Open the LoyalBean app
  2. Go to Settings or Account
  3. Look for "Delete Account" option
  4. Follow the in-app prompts
